Smart, Inc. was recently awarded a five-year, $20 million dollar Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery Contract by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide technical assistance services to Public Housing Authorities around the country. The Technical Assistance Services within the scope of this contract include the full range of management operations for low rent and Section 8 housing, and the design, implementation, and management of capital improvement projects.

Through this and other HUD contracts we have served dozens of housing authorities throughout the nation and the Caribbean. Our efforts have enhanced operational performance of troubled housing agencies, as well as secured the construction of thousands of units of affordable housing.
